The Internet's invention truly has transformed our world in a myriad of ways. For we bridge players, it's imprint is mighty.
One way in which it has an impact is our ability to communicate and discuss. For many years, I and other editors produced Minnesota's bridge newsletter - then we morphed into an online format. While the newsletter was wonderful for the decades that it lasted, the Internet allows much that before was unthinkable. Not only are we able to post as frequently as we wish, make corrections, provide loads of photos - we can also debate and discuss.
This last point leads us to this week's Koch Korner column. Ranier Herrmann, not a Minnesotan but a reader of our blog, offered some commentary on John's last column. This lead to "Desperation Redux" - where John looks at the same hand with new eyes.
Our thanks to Ranier for his comments, to John for his huge contributions and high quality - and to those who have provided us with an amazing tool that has changed our bridge world and the rest of the universe, too!
