Many of the columns we read at bridge sites (like this one!) are full of exotic plays. Sometimes, even top players have to read them a few times, they are so difficult.
Yet, much of doing well at bridge is learning basic theory and principles. Knowing what to lead and when, and what it all means, is critical. Larry Cohen surely is capable of writing those fancy-schmancy columns - and of producing those terrific plays. Nevertheless, a good article - especially for our newer and intermediate players.
