Soon our spring Board of Directors meetings will begin - along with the Spring NABC in Reno. Our CEO, Jay Baum, sent out his report to the board. Here are some of the highlights from it.
- ACBL membership has increased slightly the first two months of 2010
- Regional attendance has improved, with slight reductions in sectionals and STAC (the latter perhaps being weather-related)
- Focus on youth players is excellent. A special game will be held in Reno, a Youth NABC will be held this summer in New Orleans, and continuing efforts are being made in school settings
- Many improvements and updates to the ACBL website have been made - and plans are for continued enhancements
- ACBL has a Facebook page, with over 1,000 "fans"
