There is a growing trend in the ACBL to stratify by total pair or team masterpoints. It is time for the GNT to do that, also. I ask that a motion be made at the next BOD to make teams eligible for Flight A if the top 4 players on that team have fewer than 20000 lifetime masterpoints. Flight B would be 8000 or fewer. Superflight (open) and flight C qualifications (non-life masters) would not change.

In our district (and probably many others) more teams would be willing to play in the event under these rules.
