Another district has put this suggestion into place at their regionals:
During the tournament, a participating pair in the I/N game is drawn at random at the beginning of the first session. The winners get a meal in the hotel dining room with a pair of experts. The pair gets a chance to discuss problematic hands from their session, hear of highlights from their companions' bridge life, or just have a free informal lesson.
Part of bridge is "giving back." Please let me know your thoughts about this opportunity for our expert pairs to share their knowledge with those who are earlier in the learning stage!
