Sharon has worn many hats in the bridge world. At the table, Sharon has consistently been one of Minnesota's top players. She has also served over the years as a frequent tournament chairwoman, on Unit 178's board of directors, and as District 14's Secretary Treasurer.
Professionally, Sharon has been active for years at the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School and with her own consulting business, Aurora.
Since her election to the National Board of Directors, Sharon has chaired the CEO Review and Marketing Committees, served on the Internet Bridge, Finance, Board Operations, Governance, and By Laws Committees. Most important, she enjoys representing the great folks of District 14.
In 2012, Sharon undertook an exciting adventure: President of the ACBL. Through listening to bridge players around North America, Sharon built a strategic leadership team with the Board of Directors and new Chief Executive Officer, Robert Hartman.
Sharon looks forward to her continued service with the Board and continuing to work toward the betterment of bridge.
