Usually after a bridge tournament, I have one or two days when the statement "I have no energy" is beyond understatement. Hard to describe how 9 or 10 days of playing the most mentally challenging game there is can be draining beyond compare.
This national tourney, however, my recovery was exacerbated by a new routine to remedy a two month old cough. Though the routine is assuredly helping, meds are making me s-l-e-e-p-y.... very sleepy! So, it's more tough than usual to get back to my normal peppy self.
Still, I have had enough energy to peruse the Internet, and find some Stuff That You Should Read. Here 'tis - and hope that in the coming days, I'll be more acclimated and able to produce posts with more heft to 'em!
