Must have been March, 1993. There was a live Clinton news conferernce on TV. The latest economic figures were being mentioned -- good news. Clinton said something like, "This shows that already our economic policies are working!"
I sat there with my mouth open, waiting for some "journalist" to point out the obvious. These figures were for the last quarter of 1992 -- while GW Bush was still in office!
No one called him on it. Sure could have used blogs back then.
