While Democrats have their shorts in a knot over Vitters clandestine visits and Craig's toe tapping in MSP restrooms, they seem strangely silent about the activities of someone else's Hsu.
If I were in their shoes, I'd want the truth to be discovered.
But then - I am not a politician. Too often, "truth" and "politician" seems to be a contradiction in terms.
Ever hear of Alan B. Fabian?? Probably not since the so-called liberal media (and you) seemed to miss this story. Well, to those who are not informed on anything but trying to throw dirt on a Democrat probably missed this one. So since I know this would never grace any part of this blog, let me inform those who seek to hide from the truth on the matter of Alan B. Fabian.
Alan B. Fabian was national finance committee co-chairman for Mitt Romney. Fabian was charged in a 23 count indictment, including charges of money laundering, mail fraud, perjury and obstruction of justice. Fabian is a former Bush Pioneer, who is being charged with running a scheme that netted him millions of dollars which were used to purchase beach front property and travel. The Romney campaign said they would return Fabian’s $2,300 campaign donation, but not funds donated by others through him. Fabian stepped down from Romney’s campaign shortly after his August 9th indictment — but this has hardly been mentioned in the so-called liberal media. I wonder why?? Well is does seem that Rupert Murdoch is getting all his money worth out of his purchase of the Wall Street Journal.
Can I ask a few questions? Has anyone linked Clinton to any of Hsu's wrong-doings? If not, then why are you always harping on this, yet are so silent on those Republican's that are actually under FBI investigation? I mean Ted Steven's, Rick Renzi, and John Doolittle are under investigation, but here you are still harping on Hsu. Also which Democrats are making an issue of Craig and Vitter outside of pointing out of the hypocrisy in their actions? This is sort of like looking for a splinter in a Democrats eye, when there are tons of Republican's with splinters in theirs.
One last thing, since I know you are a big Rudy fan, let's look into his campaign.
* Giuliani's former South Carolina state chairman, former South Carolina Treasurer Thomas Ravenel, pleaded guilty September 6 "to a federal charge of possession with intent to distribute cocaine," as the Associated Press noted. According to the AP, Ravenel "faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine, though his plea agreement calls for a reduced sentence because he is helping prosecutors with their investigation." On June 20, the New York Post reported that Ravenal had stepped down from his "volunteer responsibilities with the campaign" following his indictment, according to Giuliani political director Mark Campbell.
* The New York Times reported June 7 that Robert B. Asher, "a prominent Pennsylvania Republican and prolific fund-raiser," had recently acknowledged to donors that he had agreed to be the state political chairman for Giuliani. The article noted that Asher "was convicted in 1986 of bribery-related charges as part of a scheme to award a no-bid contract to a company in exchange for promises of $300,000 in payoffs and political contributions." According to a July 10 post on The Caucus, "[o]nly after public reports that Mr. Asher had been convicted in a famous public corruption case two decades earlier did the campaign back away from the choice."
* John Wren, the "Media/PR/Advertising Industry Leader" for Giuliani's finance team, faced fraud allegations as the CEO of Omnicom, for "off-loading" certain personal stocks to avoid recording any operating losses associated with those investments.
You know you would think before you started lobbing allegations at Hillary and Democrats over Hsu, you should make sure Republicans can speak from a position of moral authority which I clearly demonstrated they cannot.
