Neither does the woman at this memorial.
Spend a few minutes to appreciate the glory of those who sacrifice all and the love and support of their families.
Rudy's comportment is worth watching, too.
Finally - if you believe that Rudy has little support out there, read the comments at Captains Quarters. Rudy may not get the Republican nomination. It will not be, however, because everyone fails to appreciate his strengths and leadership.
I know you are a big Rudy supporter, and most people (outside myself) have some horse in this race. But you made a statement that I find interesting a noteworthy. You make the statement:
"because everyone fails to appreciate his strengths and leadership."
What strength and leadership are you speaking about? If you are speaking of what happened after 9/11, then outside of the image of what he did on 9/11, there are many documented things he did wrong. No one is perfect, but this fake image of the strength of Rudy and 9/11 is more hype when anyone looks at the real facts. The placing of the command center, the walkie talkies that did not work, the no bid contract on those walkie talkies. The claim that everyone was found and recover when years later bodies were still being found, the no response about those injured in the recovery efforts. The lies he told about how he was there just as much as recovery workers. The plight of those workers, and the total shunning of the fire department is all on record. I have no hard will towards Rudy, but I just know a fairy tale when I see one. If one looks past the image, and I have done so, Rudy is a joke. Now the joke part is my personal opinion of the man, but I fail to see the strength and leadership you seem to find so abundant in Rudy.

Greg - this comment yours is a perfect example of how some people resort to deceit and fraud in an attempt to make a point.
If you look at my post above, it is absolutely clear that I did NOT say: "everyone fails to appreciate his strengths and leadership."
Actually - my point was just the opposite. Many do appreciate his strengths and they appreciate his leadership. If you ever read that to which I link, you'd realize it.
Excerpting what I said like this is akin to the movie reviewer who's words are twisted from: "It's a great movie - if you like boring, slow and lousy acting" to "It's a great movie" - period.
If you wish to look for lies - do not look at Rudy Giuliani. Look at yourself.
Apologies appreciated.

My point is simply I do not see, or have not seen what leadership that people see when they speak about Rudy. I could care less what people think, but I am just wondering as to where does all this notion of Rudy being the steady force and the great leader comes from? Nothing more nothing less.
Now if I posted any lies, please point them out. The things I have brought up are all part of the public record. I have always used facts and sources when I comment, and if I am incorrect about anything I have written please point them out. If you cannot, then how can they be labeled lies?? You might not like the truth, but the questions I have brought up, are only fair, and they are reasons why Rudy would lose soundly to Blomberg if he could run for mayor again. Now if you can dispute any issues I have listed, by all means do so. But to label them lies, when everything is part of the public record is nothing short of a lie.

Still waiting to see where I lied, or for you list the areas in which Guiliani has shown the leadership and strength that so many of Rudy supporters seem to find in him. The facts are, when anyone looks into the facts (yeah I know that dirty 5 letter word FACTS), you see lack of leadership and not the great leadership he and you claim. Look past the image, and look to the facts. So there will be no apologies at this time coming from me. I will assume that the fact that you cannot point to anywhere that I have lied as an acknowledgment of that.
