Lunch for $25,000 may sound a little steep. After all, one can only eat so much lobster and filet.
Toss in one Warren Buffett, however, and a high price tag makes a bit more sense.
Year 2000's $25,000 lunch seems like a bargain in contrast to this year's over $2 million! Yet, to be able to hear the Wisdom of the Oracle over burgers and fries seems almost priceless.
If you are a tournament bridge player, though, you get to chat with Warren for only the price of admission into the daily event. Here's a shot of Warren enjoying himself at last year's Omaha tournament. Here's hoping I can "beat him up" when we meet up! Maybe Warren will let me trade some bridge tips for financial tips - heh heh heh.
Thanks to Warren for his charitable help, too. Priceless.
