Oh! what wonderful news, Peg! Vienna Hotdogs--oh, man, there ain't nothing better. When I go to Chi-town to visit relatives, I always request two things: cannoli and a Vienna with the works. And now they're in stores! In Minneapolis! Last summer, to my wonder and joy, I actually had one--with the works--at the Beltrami County Fair up here. Rapture...

In stores in Minnneapolis, J.Reed?! Wow; where?

Oh, I should read more closely and fully. Now I'm full of great disappointment. I read only "...they move from Chicago grocers to those in Minneapolis," and not the great qualifier, "Waiting with bated breath until..." Ah, well, (big sigh)...

You know, Peg, there is down by the U of M, near the hospital, and across the street from the University Hotel, a small, hole-in-the-wall Vienna Hotdog joint. Discovered it in October.

Yes, I've heard of a few random places in the Cities where you can find 'em. I should check them out.
Perhaps I'm afraid that I'll be set up for disappointment that they just won't be REAL Chicago dogs!
