Many, thanks to the constant bias about this issue, seem to think that voter fraud is a fiction and the push for ID when voting is a plot to stop minority voters from casting their votes.
If you are one of those who thinks the above is true, then you are incorrect.
Read this entire post. I will not argue for a second that attempting to prevent legitimate voters from having their vote count is terrible and should be stopped. Nevertheless, the two notions that there is not voter fraud and that having invalid votes counted isn't a corruption of the constitutional rights of all the valid voters are utter fictions.
What's amazing is that you don't recognize this as the political shenanigans of a party trying to rig the election. You haven't noticed that the bills are introduced by republicans in swing states?
At least with the selection of Let Them Eat Cake Paul Ryan, the republicans have once again conceded the Presidency.

I stand by my statements - that have been made repeatedly. We need identification for a myriad of activities that are vastly less important than our vote. Requiring identification to know that we are who we say we are when we vote is most modest.
And - if I were a supporter of a party that has dead folks on the voting rolls, rounds up felons ineligible to vote, illegally lures people with cigarettes and booze to vote, etc., etc. - then I wouldn't be casting stones at anyone else.
