Back

Posting at my blog is difficult - at best - when I'm at an international bridge tournament.  Not only do I have the energy, stress and high level of concentration while playing.  In addition, I do my "Roaming Reporting" with stories, photography and editing, real estate work (thank God for the Internet!), staying in touch with my folks and a bit of socializing.  Add in a 2 hour time change - and the fact that virtually always, sleep is elusive due to the power of adrenaline after sessions of bridge....  Well; you get the picture.

This tournament was compounded by an unfortunate dinner.  Though I enjoyed loads of Chinese food with friends - a crab shell managed to damage one of my teeth.  In an unfamiliar city, I gutted it out for a few days until I returned home.  Then, although I saw my regular (and most wonderful) dentist plus an endodontist, pain became excruciating and debilitating. 

Finally, mid day - I am beginning to feel moderately human.  So - "hi again" to my buddies here!  And I shall try to post a few items that I found to be of interest - when I was able to do any reading whatsoever!
