Kissing? Think of the germs that must spread!
Australian children are to be banned from blowing out candles together on birthday cakes – because they could be puffing germs onto one another.
And in what is seen as an attempt to ‘bubble wrap’ children, youngsters attending birthday parties will be told to take along individual cup cakes on which to place single candles.
Shall we assume, then Peg, that Australian children will no longer breathe in one another's presence and schools will no longer be opened?

It boggles the imagination to think of what will be next, J. Reed!
What is particularly laughable is this. There is good evidence that some exposure to germs and dirt is actually good for people. It builds their immune system, and makes it less likely that they will become ill.
Wouldn't it be ironic if these ridiculous rules - if followed - would lead to more sick kids - not fewer?
