District 14 has a multitude of fine places to compete at our game, and offers exciting tournaments through the year. Nevertheless, due to a variety of demographics, building the size of our games is a challenge that many other population centers around North America don't face.
Given this, it's all the more impressive that two of our clubs in District 14 managed to make it onto the top fifty club list for ACBL!
Congratulations to the Twin City Bridge Center in Minneapolis, 40th on the list with 6,215.5 tables in 2013, and to the Omaha Bridge Studio, 44th with 6083 tables. These clubs, their owners and directors and players rise to the challenge!

I find it enlightening that BBO has higher table count than the top 50 clubs combined! Of course it has no geographical or temporal limitations which enable me to compete against people from around the world at any hour. Don't get me wrong, i very much love my club - that's where I learned bridge and meet friends every Saturday.
