In autumn, we enjoy the gorgeous explosion of colors, change our clocks - and herald the arrival of the Minneapolis Grand Slam Club!
For those of you who don't know what the Minneapolis Grand Slam Club is, let me explain.
The MGSC was founded in 1937. It's aim was to be a club where serious bridge was played, where people could work to improve their games and compete at the highest levels possible locally.
Though you do not have to be a member of the MGSC to play at their games, it is a member supported club. With a membership, you get four free plays at Membership Games, a weekly bulletin emailed to you, a membership list for the MGSC, and a subsidy to a year end gala party. Most of all, you are able to regularly enjoy camraderie with people who love the game as you do, and who wish to do what they can to improve their bridge every week.
You can view the website for the MGSC here. And, you can view the 2007-2008 welcome letter and MGSC schedule here: Download MGSC2007-2008WelcomeLetter-2007-08-27.doc . Download MGSC2007-2008WeeklySchedule-2007-08-27.doc
September 7th, the games begin! Feel free to check them out.....
