"Lebensohl" is a useful convention. It can be used in a number of scenarios to differentiate between having values - and - not.
This week, John Koch offers a Fargo Regional hand which highlights this helpful convention. As always - much to learn in Koch's Korner!
Nice.
In my regular partnerships when we are considering sacrificing in contested auctions we use 4N to promise more outside defense and 5 of our suit as a 'relatively defenseless' bid, so that we have a better idea of who's zooming who in accelerated auctions.
Obviously, 4N as RKC cannot be in the mix in these situations.
