To reach Diamond Life Master status, a player must earn over 5,000 masterpoints. Fewer than 2% of ACBL members ever reach this level! Now - Lance Chamberlain is among that select group.
Sue Greenberg, Club Manager in Rochester, sent this exciting news. We'll let Sue share, in her own words, stories and upcoming celebrations about Lance and his achievements! Very well done, Lance; congratulations!
A long-time Rochester bridge player, Lance Chamberlain has achieved Diamond Life Master. While his demeanor is reserved and shy, he is a killer at the bridge table. He is a skilled player, knowing where the cards lie, reliable in his bidding skills, and a excellent defender. I play with him once a month, and I always come away with a new tidbit of knowledge.
In addition, he directs several local games, donates bottled water for the club, pitches in when needed, and serves as Unit 103's financial advisor.
Rochester will celebrate his Diamond Life Master achievement Wednesday, January 24, after the game with a potluck appetizer buffet. All are welcome!

This is cool! I was thinking about Lance because we used to work together (and I was talking about him with Ming). Fun to see this post.
