The Big Goal for all duplicate bridge players is to become a Life Master. Now? Val McGrath of Wabasha and Lois Sperl, formerly from Wabasha and currently in Arizona, have achieved that title! Big congrats to Val and Lois - and our thanks to Sue and Rich Greenberg for sharing this happy news with us!
Val McGrath, Wabasha resident that plays regularly in Rochester, recently achieved Life Master status, playing with friend Lois Sperl. Val and Lois achieved this distinction playing at a regional in Phoenix.
As is the tradition in Rochester, we throw a Life Master party after one of our games. Val has worked diligently to get her necessary "colors". The picture shows the last "new" Life Master, Gloria Georger, passing the coveted paper tiara on at the party.
The Rochester club so appreciates all those players that travel for 45+ minutes to make out club as vibrant as it is. RDBC welcomes all to come and join our hospitality. Congratulations, Val and Lois!
