Willy Willy Willy what am I going to do with you? I am so so sorry for what you are dealing with. Have so many memories of our bridge time and stories. I am still missing my Paulette. You made me a better bridge player and will never forget all you have done in the bridge world. Sending much love and prayers to you.

Bill is an icon for Iowa bridge. He was instrumental in making bridge fun for me.

One of the rare naturals at this game. He was incredible generous with his time and resources. He was the perfect combination of critical and complimentary of my game and helped me become the bridge pro I am today. You changed my life for the better, Bill! Great guy.

Very sad to read this. My regular partner Genny Rice and I played against Bill many times and chatted with him before and after games. He was an expert player who was also friendly, light hearted and fun to be around. The kind of player we are all missing in person these days.

As an inexperienced player, I consider it a privilege to have played against Bill Kent on several occasions. Bill was never intimidating, and went out of his way to treat opponents with respect. He gave me helpful advice in a pleasant manner that I appreciated. Thanks, Bill.
