District 14 Finals - NAP - 2013

Congratulations to winning pairs Judy and Phil Schwarz, Flight A, and Jake and Jeff Olson, Flight B, in this past weekend's District 14 NAP Finals in Des Moines.

NAP Qualifiers

Would you like to represent District 14 in your flight, and compete at the Spring 2014 NABC in Dallas?  Then, begin at the beginning!  Compete in one of the many NAP qualifying games throughout the ACBL and in Minnesota.  Those who are above average are then eligible to travel to Des Moines the first weekend in October, and vye to be one of the top 3 pairs in A, B and C.

It's a great opportunity to win a subsidized trip - and perhaps gain a national title, too!

Last night at the Twin City Bridge Center, a number of Minnesota players were beginning at the beginning...

NAP Flight A - 2013

The Spring NABC in St. Louis is now underway!  Day One of the North American Pairs has concluded.  The 28 pairs of qualifiers will duke it out in two sessions to see who rises to the top.

Alas.  In District 14, two of our three pairs didn't make the big cut.  Bob Balderson and Kurt Schaeffer, and Bill Kent and Peg Kaplan needed a bit more. 

Nevertheless, our third qualifiers at the District level, Terry Beckman and John Koch, will be vying for a win today.  Good luck to T & John!
