No. The World's Greatest Procrastinator (that would be me) has not made a decision and finally purchased a digital camera. But - a client and friend who happens to be a professional photographer very generously loaned me one of his cameras, along with an hour and a half of instruction and advice. (Do not, however, blame poor Joe for any and all errors of commision and ommision!)
With the busy activities of the season, I haven't had time to roam around with my new toy. Nevertheless, my favorite subject around the house has done his best to help out. Well, kinda.
Mr Mollo and his food dish. Mollo generously removed his beak from the dish for a quickie photo.
Do you think it's easy to get a squirmy cockatiel to pose for photos??
Mom - is this what you wanted?
A magnificent birdie basks in the sun.
I love the Mollo pics! Having met Mollo his personality really shines through. He looks like he must be thinking "I am such a handsome bird!" Emile our cockatiel when photographed always has the same quizzical or concerned expression. He is an anxious little fellow compared to the supremely confident Mollo.
