There are a great many of anti war people such as myself who just believed that we went after the wrong person. If my memory serves me correct, wasn't Osama Bin Laden responsible for 9/11. If this is so, why has more effort been given to Saddamm and Iraq, then Osama? Just food for thought.

Al Qaeda was responsible for 9/11, Greg.

But, if you've been following the perspective of this administration (and others), the War on Terror goes beyond Al Qaeda.

Clearly, though there is no direct evidence of Saddam's hand in 9/11, Saddam nevertheless did give aid to Al Qaeda and other terrorists (like paying the families of suicide bombers $25,000 to attack Israelis.) And, of course, our decision to go to war against Iraq was based on a number of other points; not just Saddam's relationship with terrorists.

I don't believe that I mentioned the "Iraq war" in my post. Put mem down as someone who does believe that we are engaged in a much larger battle against those who would do whatever they can to stop Western democracies and freedoms. These people are the ones who contributed to the destruction of 9/11 - and against whom we must fight.
