Bill

OK, once again. I don't have a problem with homosexuals becoming life partners. I don't have a problem with their having all the privileges awarded to heterosexual married couples. I have a problem with the law referring to either union as marriage when it is, in effect, a civil contract under law. Marriage is something that is generally thought of as sanctified by a church.

This is one place where we need to separate the church and state. Let ministers perform marriages but don't make them binding under law. Let everyone go to the courthouse and register their union as a contract. Then have a party and call it a marriage if you want.
