Some of my readers don't like what I've been reporting at what if? Yet - facts are stubborn things. We can argue about opinions. But - the hard data is what it is.
Here is a fairly good round-up of why the MSM is in such tough shape these days - and viewed with contempt by a substantial part of the American public.
And a CNN journalist, rather than reporting on one event, decided to debate the crowd!Nearly 200,000 Americans showed up to protest high taxes in hundreds of cities around the country today.
The New York Times and The Boston Globe ignored "Tea Parties" altogether. ABC and CBS reporters were nowhere to be found. NBC, on the other hand, simply made obscene references -- using a tea-related colloquialism -- to express its corporate disgust with America's founding principles.
We can argue about why this is occurring. We can argue about whether these people are justified in their beliefs. What we cannot argue about, however, is that it is happening. Those are the facts.
Here is a link to USNews which reports extensive MSM coverage with links to each:

Jammen - the article YOU cite proves my point! There was little coverage by the MSM PRIOR to the protests...and much of what there was mocked it.
Thanks for providing everyone with more evidence proving my point.

Here are some more facts for you to mull over and to probably put into context why this sham was not fully covered by the press.
Obama's acceptance speech in Denver:
84,000 people.
Obama's Berlin speech:
about 200,000 people turned up.
Obama's election night rally in Grant Park:
about 500,000 people.
Obama's Inauguration in DC:
about 1,200,000 people.
The largest ever anti-war protest in Rome in 2003 (protesting Bush's Iraq war) was pegged at about 3,000,000 by Guinness.
There are about 304,000,000 people in the United States.(https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/print/us.html)
Getting 1 million to 1 event is impressive.
Getting 200,000 to 1,000 events = not so much.
Since there were events all across the county everyone had a chance to attend one (not everyone had a chance to go to Grant Park or to DC for the innaug.) so you had a pool of 304,000,000 to work with and you got 1 out of every 300 to show up? YAWWWWNNN. So you right wingers have some catching up to do if you want to come close to the people power of the left.
PS
Nearly 200,000 Americans showed up to protest high taxes in hundreds of cities around the country today.
Now was this event about taxes or not?? If 95% of American taxes have been cut, then why are these people out here. You need to get your line of attack straight. Was this about high taxes as it is stated in this post, or something else as stated in a more recent post? Why this ever changing line of thought? Or could it just be protesting an African American president. Now that line of thought would be consistent. So spin away.
