"Do we operate under a system of equal justice under law, or is there one system for the average citizen and another for the high and mighty?"

Uh, you're just now figuring that out. If we had equal justice for all then Dubya would still be in prison for all his cocaine possessions.

1) You, like almost anyone else, really has no idea what "cocaine possession" George W. Bush had.

2) Many people do not go to jail at all for first drug offenses.

3) Are you really trying to equate personal drug possession with homocide?

4) It is true that the wealthy and well-connected will generally receive better representation than the not-so-well connected. Part of the human condition, I'm afraid.

5) Interesting how liberals just can't suck it up and say: "Yes, what happened with Mary Jo was a terrible injustice. Moreoever, it's rather sad that so many would overlook what Ted Kennedy did, and send him back to DC decade after decade."
