Peg, I don't know how I missed this post. I guess I didn't scroll down far enough. First of all, aren't we the luckiest women on the face of the earth who have lifelong friends like you have in Rox? As we get older, and our parents age, it's so comforting to know we aren't going through all this alone. Heartwarming gesture to your friend and her mother. Thanks.

I also am most fortunate to have two dear friends from high school in Chicago still. They're sisters, and since about 13, we've been the best of friends.

End of July, I will attend the wedding of one of their daughters. Where has the time gone!?!

Great to have them, to celebrate the highlights of life - and to be able to gain solace with the grief.
